Directions: From Santa Rosa Ave. Turn left onto Petaluma
Hill Rd and go 7.9 mi. Turn left onto Roberts Rd/Roberts Ranch Rd. Then go 1.3
mi and Continue onto Pressley Rd
This 128 acre park features rolling grassland meadows
and a seasonal creek in the Sonoma Valley foothills, east of Sonoma State
University. The park's open space is bordered by stands of California Buckeye, White
Alder, Black Oak and Maple. The park offers outstanding vistas of Rohnert Park
and Santa Rosa.
** A $7 parking fee
Monday, January 13
Petaluma
Turning Basin
12-3:30 pm, Critique at 3:15 TBD
Views of the river, mill, yacht club, boats.
From Hwy 101, take East Washington exist west and turn
left on Petaluma Blvd. Turn on B
Street and drive to the end, turning right into the Great Petaluma Mill parking
lot. Critique along Weller Street.

Luther Burbank Home
& Botanical Gardens

Directions: From 101, exit 489 towards Downtown Santa Rosa
and merge onto Davis Street. Turn
left onto 3rd Street and take the 3rd right onto Santa
Rosa Avenue. Luther Burbank Home
and Gardens will be on the left.
Donations suggested $5-10
Registered National, State and City Historic Landmark of
world-renowned horticulturist Luther Burbank. Victorian Greenhouses, hundreds of ornamental flowers,
medicinal gardens, cactus gardens, wildlife habitats. The friend and colleague of Thomas Edison and Henry Ford
created more than 800 new kinds of edible plants as well as a phenomenal
collection of specialty gardens in downtown Santa Rosa before he died in
1926. The Gardens and Home are
historically accurate.

Taylor Mountain Park
& Open Space Preserve

Sweeping views of the Santa Rosa Plain, rolling hills and
walking paths.
Directions: From Santa Rosa / Farmer’s Lane, turn right onto
Sonoma Ave. Then turn left onto
Santa Rosa Ave. Then turn left
onto Petaluma Hill Rd. Make a quick
left then onto Kawana Springs Road.
Make the 1st right onto Franz Kafka Avenue. This becomes Kawana Terrace. Follow signs to the park and parking.
*Wear comfortable shoes if you’d like to hike in for more
views. $7 parking fee

2 miles stretch of sandy beach, dunes, and vast expanses of
winter Pacific Ocean
Directions: From the town of Bodega, continue on Bodega
Ave. At the Stop sign past town,
turn right onto CA-1 / Bay Hwy / Shoreline Hwy. After approx 3 miles, turn left onto Doran Park Road. Beach
parking will be on the left.
$7 parking fee
